       SISTER CITY RELATIONS

       Twinning relations have been established with the aim of advertasing our city Trabzon in world wide, find joint solutions to common problems and to cooperate in the areas of culture, sport, folclore etc. With twinning relations we cooperate in all areas include city planning.

       TRABZON-SOCHI

       The twinning momerandum between Trabzon and Sochi city was signed on the date of 1993 by both cities' mayors.

       TRABZON-RIZHAO

       The twinning momerandum between Trabzon and Rizhao city was signed on the date of 1997 by both cities' mayors.

       TRABZON-SZIGETVAR

       The twinning momerandum between Trabzon and Sizgetva city was signed on the date of 1998 by both cities' mayors. The Magnificient Ottaman Sultan Suleyman who was born in Trabzon, died in Sizigetvar.

       TRABZON-BATUMI

       The twinning momerandum between Trabzon and Batumi city was signed on the date of 2000 by both cities' mayors.

       TRABZON-REŞT

       The twinning momerandum between Trabzon and Rasht city was signed on the date of 2000 by both cities' mayors.

       TRABZON-ZENCAN

       The twinning momerandum between Trabzon and Zencan city was signed on the date of 2001 by both cities' mayors.
